The aim of the SURE project is to connect citizens, through their representative civil organisations, to the Sustainability agenda of the European Union, and to clarify the implications of this agenda for connecting citizens and organisations in urban and rural areas.

In detail

The project will include three main activities, in sequence:

  • An intensive two-day workshop in Gothenburg (Sweden), with 30 participants from a variety of organisations, with the aim of teasing out the themes within the scope of the project.
  • A three-day conference in Krakow (Poland), with 80 participants drawn from all 27 Member States and from the civil, private and public sectors, with the aim of crystallising conclusions and their implications for policy and practice.
  • Preparation and dissemination of the outputs of the project, through the CURE and PREPARE Networks and in other ways.
